26003-926.45 - Hazardous Waste Material Disposal

The New York State Thruway Authority is soliciting bids for a five-year contract involving the removal, handling, transportation, and ultimate disposal or recycling of hazardous and non-hazardous Resource Conservation and Recovery Act regulated waste materials from various collection locations. The scope of work requires the contractor to properly classify waste, obtain destination facility approvals, manage all manifesting and communications, and provide comprehensive disposal documentation. Performance is focused on the Syracuse and Buffalo divisions, with pricing based on 55-gallon drums. While quantities are estimated for bidding purposes, the contract is for the actual quantity ordered with no maximum limit.
