27-016-Roadway Asset Inventory and Pavement Condition Assessment Services

The City of Sandy Springs is soliciting bids for solicitation 27-016 to obtain professional services for a Roadway Asset Inventory and Pavement Condition Assessment. The primary objective is to conduct a Pavement Condition Index assessment of approximately 302 centerline miles of city-maintained roadways using a 0-100 scoring system consistent with ASTM D6433. The scope of work is divided into four lump-sum bid items: the Pavement Condition Index and Roadway Asset Inventory, Traffic-Calming Device Evaluation, Pavement Marking Inventory and Assessment, and Traffic Sign Inventory and Assessment. Bidders must submit a comprehensive package including a bid schedule, price certification, and various affidavits covering drug-free workplace standards, the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act, and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Payment is structured with a 30-day turnaround for invoices, and the City may withhold up to 10 percent retainage until 50 percent of the contract price is reached. Performance and payment bonds, as well as a certificate of insurance, are mandatory requirements upon award.
