27-18 ADA Ramp at Stramski Property

The Town of Marblehead, through the MARB2 Procurement office, is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of an ADA ramp at the Stramski Property under solicitation number BD-27-1293-MARB2-PROC2-133376. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and transportation necessary to complete the project. The scope of work includes site preparation, stump and ledge removal, grading, the construction and completion of retaining walls, the installation of an elevated bituminous sidewalk and stair entrance area, and the restoration of disturbed areas. All work must be performed in accordance with the Town's plans and specifications and comply with Massachusetts prevailing wage requirements. Bids must be submitted via the Town's procurement portal by September 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM. This solicitation is conducted as an Invitation for Bid pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30 §39M. Requirements for submission include a bid deposit of at least five percent of the total project cost. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Labor and Materials Payment Bond equal to 50 percent of the contract price.
