NSWC Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), Panama City, Florida intends to solicit Advance Machine & Laser, 1010 Aberdeen Loop, Panama City, FL 32405-6417 on a sole-source basis for the fabrication of items needed to complete the Phoenix program. They have specialized equipment needed to manufacture these engine components. Advanced Machine and Laser has machined the engine components for the Non-gasoline Burning Outboard Engine (NBOE) that NSWC PCD engineers have been testing for the past 2 years. They have the expertise to produce the Mod 0 engine, which is an advanced version of the NBOE. Advance Machine and Laser LLC already has many of the required numeric controlled (NC) machine code for the original versions of the required parts on file. This will significantly reduce the time and cost needed to produce the engine parts, as it will take substantially less time to make the changes to the existing NC machine code than it would for any other company to produce these parts from "scratch". Delivery will be the Naval Support Activity - Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. A firm-fixed-price order is anticipated. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 332710, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The closing date to submit quotes is 31 March 2011. The Department of Defense will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Registration may be accomplished by accessing the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov/. A paper form may be obtained from the Department of Defense Electronic Commerce Information center at +1 (555) 000-0000. Contract Specialist: Ms. Courtney Henslee, Code B32, NSWC PCD, 110 Vernon Ave, Panama City Beach, FL 32407-7001 +1 (555) 000-0000, FAX +1 (555) 000-0000, e-mail: contact@example.gov
