The Smithsonian Institution (Smithsonian) is providing this Notice of a Pending Solicitation for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite SI Wide Boiler Services Contract (IDIQ) to assist The Office of Facilities Management & Reliability (OFMR). The applicable North American Industry Classification Codes (NAICS) are: 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, Size standard $19 million and 221330 - Steam and Air?Conditioning Supply size standard is $30 million. The objective is to award a Facilities Management Contract for a Contractor to provide Preventive and Remedial Maintenance Services for its boilers for 1 (one) 12-month base period and 9(nine) optional periods for its museum and facilities in the following locations: Washington, DC, New York City, New York, Suitland, Maryland, Chantilly and Front Royal, Virginia, Edgewater, Maryland The full solicitation, request for proposal and supporting documents will be released on or about March 26, 2025; however, there is no guarantee or implication of a guarantee this this project will be solicited. Responses will be due within (30) days of release. Electronic copies will be uploaded to SAM.gov site. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Smithsonian Institution will accept proposals from all qualified offerors. The Smithsonian Institution's evaluation panel will be the sole entity to determine as to whether an offeror is capable of meeting the requirements to carry out contract performance.
