The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 16, VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, intends to negotiate for award, on a sole source basis, with R. W. Martin & Sons, Inc. to provide the medical facility with the necessary various spare parts for new laundry equipment being installed in the new facility. Due to the equipment size, complexity, and functionality, it is essential that specific spare parts are on site and available prior to commissioning the laundry facility. Spare parts provided need to be packaged and delivered in "kit" format, palletized, and labeled for the appropriate piece of equipment. Contract is firm fixed price and the NAICS Code is 333318. The total price is that listed on Purchase Order VA256-14-P-3841. This Notice of Intent to Sole Source is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products or service, to the Contracting Officer within three (3) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis.
