Solicitation PolkDPWMJL047 is a Small Business Set-Aside request for quote for a 365-day rental of a 130-140 hp Crawler Dozer, specifically a John Deere 700k LGP or a comparable equivalent. The required machine must feature a cab with air conditioning, low ground pressure tracks between 28 and 32 inches, a 6-way blade, hydrostatic transmission, limb risers, and protective window screens. The procurement process is conducted via a competitive reverse auction on the Unison Marketplace, where technical capability is weighted more heavily than price. Delivery is FOB Destination to Fort Polk, Louisiana. This is currently an unfunded requirement with a high expectation of future funding. All bids are evaluated on an all-or-nothing basis, and no multiple awards will be made. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management and comply with various FAR and DFARS clauses regarding commercial items and small business representations.
