SOURCES SOUGHT/RFI DESCRIPTION
This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought Notice / RFI only. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice / RFI is to gain information about potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 336110 Automobile and Light Duty Motor Vehicle Manufacturing / PSC 3930 Warehouse Trucks and Tractors, Self-Propelled. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice / RFI will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice / RFI, further RFIs and/or a solicitation or other announcements may be published.
The purpose of this contract is to acquire Electric-powered industrial utility vehicle, Taylor Dunn Stepsaver SS5 46 (SS 546) electric personnel/burden carrier or equal. A total of two (2) carriers/trucks are required. Salient Characteristics to meet or exceed: Type & Model Device Type: Electric-powered industrial utility vehicle (burden/personnel carrier) for material, supply, and personnel transport in healthcare, government, and industrial settings. Manufacturer: Taylor-Dunn Manufacturing (or authorized vendor of Taylor-Dunn). Model: Specify current model (e.g., Bigfoot S, B-248, B-210 GT, or agency-selected model). Capacity & Performance Load Capacity: Minimum 2,000 3,000 lbs. (model dependent). Towing Capacity: Minimum 5,000 10,000 lbs. Speed: Up to 11 18 mph (depending on configuration).
