The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Petersburg located in Hopewell, Virginia, intends to issue solicitation RFQ-11411-0057, for the requirement of: Quarterly Subsistence Orders which will be FOB Destination. The orders will be placed by the Food Service Department. The orders will need to be delivered starting APRIL 01, 2010. Deliveries will be made to the FCC Petersburg (Warehouse), 1100 River Road, Hopewell, Virginia 23860. The contract type is a firm-fixed Price. The Government reserves the right to award item by item, by group of items, or by aggregate, whichever is advantageous to the government. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be best overall value to the Government, in regards to price, delivery and past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 12, 2010, and will be posted to the General Service Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. This site provides all downloading instructions on how to otain a copy of the solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. Faith-Based organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts in which they are eligible. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the referenced website. This solicitation is unrestricted and all responsible business sources are encouraged to submit a quote for consideration. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information regarding this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is March 24, 2010. The Government reserves the right to decide how payment will be made using either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Government Purchase card. Each offer is required per 52.212-3, to complete their presentations and certifications via the on-line Presentations and Certification Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. All potential offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database at http://ccr.gov.
