The contract from the US Army RDECOM Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division, addresses the need to modify the existing MIRCS Contract W911QY-05-C-0091 to procure additional Authorized Stockage List Spare Parts for Mortuary Affairs Units. Guild Associates, based in Dublin, Ohio, is identified as the sole manufacturer capable of providing these specific spare parts, which are essential for the Mobil Integrated Remains Containers currently deployed in theater. Due to the unique requirements and the unavailability of any equally suitable alternatives, the acquisition is justified under a sole-source procurement provision, ensuring continuity and support for critical operations. This procurement is conducted under federal regulations that recognize only one responsible source can fulfill the agency's needs, thereby exempting it from competitive bidding. The contract is associated with NAICS code 333415 and is managed through the Department of Defense's Natick office in Massachusetts. Interested parties are directed to communicate exclusively via email or fax to the designated Contracting Officer, Roberta Boswell, as telephone inquiries will not be accepted. This streamlined approach supports timely and efficient fulfillment of a specialized logistical requirement critical to military operations.
