Description: M20A1 Simplified Collective Protection Equipment (SCPE) provides nuclear biological protection. It consists of an inflated cylindrical liner (10 feet by 16 feet in diameter), motor blower for inflation, flexible air duct work, heremetically sealed canister to provide filtered air, and a collapsible protective entrance. The requirement includes providing Hermetically Sealed Filter Canister, NSN 4240-01-366-6243. Overall width is 11.800 inches nominal; overall diameter is 23.180 inches nominal; filter material is chromium free carbon; special features consists of outlet to shelter and inlet from blower located on top; filter canister, hermetically sealed.
