The Department of Defense, through DLA Maritime - Pearl Harbor, is soliciting bids for dry dock basin scaffold towers to support repair and maintenance operations for navy vessels at PHNSY and IMF. These multi-level towers must provide continuous, unobstructed walking surfaces and strictly adhere to all CFR requirements for scaffolds and work levels. A critical requirement is that all components must be compatible with Layher brand scaffolds to ensure integration with existing inventories, and the material must be engineered to serve as certified anchor points for fall protection. The requested towers must meet specific size and work level dimensions, including 10x10 and 7x33.6 configurations with work levels at 6-7 foot increments, and must be equipped with engineered pad eyes for crane lifts. While the final quantity is to be determined in the solicitation, it is estimated at 39 total pieces. Interested parties are directed to submit a market survey form to the designated point of contact to receive the full solicitation.

PHNSY and IMF require dry dock basin scaffold towers that meet all CFR requirements for scaffolds and work levels. These scaffolds will be used for repair/maintenance for navy vessels @ PHNSY and IMF. Equipment is needed to provide multi-level towers connected in a fashion that provides continuous, unobstructed walking/working surfaces to various areas for vessels in dry dock. Components need to be compatible to LAYHER brand scaffolds in all applications to enable incorporation into existing shop inventories. Material needs to be engineered to also meet anchor point requirements (i.e. Layher rosettes can be utilized as a tie off anchor point for fall protection). These towers need to meet size and work level requirements, 10 x 10 7 x 33 6 with work levels at 6 7 increments. Towers need to be outfitted with pad eyes that have been engineered for crane lifts. Quantity TBD in solicitation but estimated at 39 total pieces.
