45/HC Catholic Religious Education Coordinator

The 45th Space Launch Delta Chapel at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida, requires a Catholic Religious Education Coordinator to provide comprehensive religious education and spiritual development support to the Catholic worship community. The position is a non-personal service contract under a firm-fixed price structure with a base period of one year and four optional one-year extension periods, plus a sixth-month option for continued services. The contractor must administer religious education programs for adults and children in grades K–12, recruit and train volunteer Christian educators, conduct sacramental preparation classes, and deliver a monthly schedule coordinated with the chapel’s designee and publicly posted on bulletin boards and the Catholic Community’s Facebook page. If volunteers are unavailable, the contractor is responsible for delivering instruction personally. Additional duties include planning an annual Vacation Bible School program, implementing a Quality Control Program within 30 days of award, and ensuring compliance with all Air Force and Department of Defense instructions related to safety, facility use, and financial management. The contractor must also manage government-furnished property, safeguard all equipment, and enforce strict key control and lock combination protocols, all of which must be documented in the Quality Control Plan. Access to the installation requires government-issued identification badges worn above the waist, adherence to base security procedures, including background checks and vehicle inspections, and the use of a Common Access Card for network access to chapel systems. The contractor must complete required Information Assurance training within the first week of performance and comply with all mandatory computer-based training mandated by the Air and Space Force. The contract is a 100% total small business set-aside under NAICS code 813110, with no set-aside exceptions, and will be awarded based on best value, not necessarily the lowest price.
