This contract, solicitation number N0010425RJB70, is for the repair or modification of 35 sewage pumping units under NSN 7H-4630-014125270, TDP VER 011, with delivery terms set as FOB Origin. The procurement is being handled by the Navsup Weapon Systems Support Mech. Because the government does not own the necessary data rights and has determined that purchasing them or reverse engineering the part is uneconomical, the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. While this is not a request for competitive proposals, interested parties may submit capability statements or quotations within 45 days of publication, or 30 days if awarded under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement. The government is not utilizing FAR Part 12 for commercial items, though parties may notify the contracting officer of a commercial alternative within 15 days. Standardized documents are available via the DoD Single Stock Point, and new vendors must express interest through the NAVSUP Business Opportunities portal, though approval of new sources will not delay the current award.
