AI Contract Overview
The Montello School District is seeking proposals for synchronous internet access and data transmission services for three entities: Forest Lane Community Elementary, High Marq Environment Charter, and Junior/Senior High. The district currently utilizes 1 Gbps of synchronous bandwidth and prefers proposals for equal or greater speeds. Requirements include the provision of one usable static public IPv4 address and comprehensive installation, configuration, and activation services. Service start and termination dates must align with E-rate funding years, and multi-year agreements will be considered. Proposals must include a signed Proposal Overview document and detailed manufacturer information for all line items. While the district will evaluate the overall fit and capabilities of the provider, price is the primary and highest weighted factor in the selection process. Robotic or spam responses will be disqualified. Interested vendors should coordinate with the technical contact regarding local procurement regulations and specific technical needs to ensure a valid submission.

Once downloaded sign the Proposal Overview and name the file Proposal Overview - Service Provider (Actual Service Provider Name Inserted)- -3. Be sure to include this Proposal Overview file as an attachment to your submitted proposal to the district.- -4. Reminder: The 470 application provides the District's best estimate of the number of items we are seeking in the "Quantity" field in order to indicate to potential service providers the size and scope of our project in the 470. Service providers are free to propose a higher or lower number in their proposals based on their assessment of our needs, if the proposals are clearly responding to our needs as described in the FCC Form 470. Cat1 requests are a bit more restrictive, but can provide a range of defined bandwidths.- -5. The District will select the most cost-effective proposal. The price of the eligible products and services must be the primary factor in the evaluation, but does not have to be the sole factor. The District will also consider additional factors such as the capabilities of manufacturer products/services proposed. The most effective fit between the service provider and the District, from the District's perspective, will be considered. The service provider's actions to construct a proper proposal per the District's expectations will also be evaluated. The district may consider other factors at their discretion. The District values valid clinical communication that does not provide an unfair advantage over any other participating service providers. For emphasis again: Price will be the highest weighted factor in the evaluation of proposals.-
