AI Contract Overview
The Rhinelander School District is seeking proposals for Category 1 internet access and data transmission services for two locations: the Cavoc Annex and the HS HCLC Annex. The district requires bandwidth ranging from 400 to 1000 Mbps for downloads and 10 to 35 Mbps for uploads, noting that proposals meeting or exceeding the current 400/10 Mbps capacity are highly preferred. Each site must include at least one static public IPv4 address. Service providers may offer bundled or independent services across various transmission mediums, and multi-year agreements will be considered provided that service dates align with E-rate funding years. Proposals must include detailed costs for installation, configuration, and activation for each service request. To be considered, vendors must sign and attach the Proposal Overview document and avoid automated or robotic responses. While the district will evaluate the capabilities of the proposed services and the overall fit of the provider, the primary factor for selection will be cost-effectiveness. All submissions must adhere to the district's local procurement policies and the guidelines specified in the FCC Form 470 application.

-Important Reminders to Service Providers/Vendors: -1. Read the Proposal Overview (file name: Proposal Overview 2BSIGNED Not an RFP) downloadable from the 470 application RFPS- -2. Once downloaded sign the Proposal Overview and name the file Proposal Overview - Service Provider (Actual Service Provider Name Inserted)- -3. Be sure to include this Proposal Overview file as an attachment to your submitted proposal to the district.- -4. Reminder: The 470 application provides the District's best estimate of the number of items we are seeking in the "Quantity" field in order to indicate to potential service providers the size and scope of our project in the 470. Service providers are free to propose a higher or lower number in their proposals based on their assessment of our needs, if the proposals are clearly responding to our needs as described in the FCC Form 470. Cat1 requests are a bit more restrictive, but can provide a range of defined bandwidths.- -5. The District will select the most cost-effective proposal. The price of the eligible products and services must be the primary factor in the evaluation, but does not have to be the sole factor. The District will also consider additional factors such as the capabilities of manufacturer products/services proposed. The most effective fit between the service provider and the District, from the District's perspective, will be considered. The service provider's actions to construct a proper proposal per the District's expectations will also be evaluated. The district may consider other factors at their discretion. The District values valid clinical communication that does not provide an unfair advantage over any other participating service providers. For emphasis again: Price will be the highest weighted factor in the evaluation of proposals.-
