This contract involves the repair, testing, and inspection of solenoid valves in accordance with the specified requirements, under the authority of BOA N00383-22-G-Y601. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary tooling, fixtures, and test equipment, as the government will not supply these items. A key aspect of the contract is the Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT), which begins from the physical receipt of the asset at the contractor’s facility, as recorded in the Commercial Asset Visibility system, and requires final inspection and acceptance within the established RTATs. Contractors are asked to submit proposals that include either a firm-fixed price or T&E pricing, along with estimated repair costs, referencing their proposed RTAT and capacity constraints. The contract emphasizes strict adherence to quality standards, including the prohibition of MIL-W-81381 wire, mandating the use of SAE-AS22759 series wire instead, and requiring personnel to be trained and certified per IPC/EIAJ-STD-001C standards where applicable. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD 2073, and all contractual communications are valid when transmitted via mail, email, or electronic methods, with the government’s acceptance constituting a bilateral agreement. The solicitation was posted by the Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, with a response deadline of September 22, 2025, and is managed through the SAM.gov portal.
