The Corpus Christi Army Depot intends to award a firm fixed price contract to purchase one each Zeiss Accura 900/1500/700 Coordinate Measuring Machine with rotary table, probe changer and involute and bevel gear inspection software. Under authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, negotiations to be conducted solely with Carl Zeiss IMT Corporation the only known source for this equipment and who has proprietary rights to the design and software. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This solicitation is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
