This contract covers the reconstruction of a collector road segment from 500 W between 4500 S and 4800 S in Murray, Utah, involving the removal of 144,235 square feet of existing asphalt via 2-inch rotomilling and the placement of 2,704 tons of 3-inch thick bituminous concrete pavement, with an additional 211 tons of 6-inch overlay specified for selective areas. The scope includes comprehensive surface and infrastructure improvements: removal and replacement of concrete curb, gutter, waterway, and sidewalk; installation of new concrete curb and gutter and sidewalk; sawcutting of asphalt edges; pavement marking with thermoplastic and paint; installation of new bike lane and traffic signs; and adjustments to utility valves and manholes to match final grade.
