The contract seeks to establish a standing price quote for up to one year for a specific National Stock Number (NSN) within the 5120 Federal Supply Class, specifically for a wrench set, combination (NSN 5120-01-495-7712). This item is part of GSA’s Stock Program and will be incorporated into a formal solicitation soon. All offers must be FOB destination and comply with specific government clauses related to procurement restrictions, bar coding, source inspection, and packaging materials. The quantities indicated are estimates based on historical usage over the past three years. Proposals will be evaluated based on past performance, delivery, and price, with past performance and delivery combined carrying greater weight than price alone. Bidders without prior GSA performance are allowed to submit references to demonstrate capability. If proposals are judged equal in these factors, the award will be granted to the lowest priced offeror. Offers must be faxed to the designated contract specialist, Amy Lara, by June 16, 2005, with any inquiries directed to her as well. The solicitation falls under the NAICS code 332212 and emphasizes awarding to the responsible offeror that provides the most advantageous proposal to the government.
