This sole source request for proposal is issued by Navsup Weapon Systems Support for the purchase of Foreign Military Sales spares, specifically handle grips and other replacement parts. The procurement is intended to be awarded under the terms and conditions of BOA N0038320GX901. Because the government lacks sufficient technical data to compete the requirement, it is restricted to the current source. Prospective offerors must be approved sources or submit the necessary documentation detailed in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure to be considered for award. The scope of work requires the manufacture, testing, and inspection of articles according to National Aerospace, SAE International, and other specified aerospace standards. A critical component of the contract is the quality assurance process, which mandates 100 percent Procurement Contracting Officer inspection at the source under DCMAO surveillance. The contractor is solely responsible for providing all necessary manufacturing aids, tooling, and equipment. Additionally, the contract includes a warranty for supplies of a noncomplex nature for 365 days after the last delivery.
