The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Yuma Proving Ground is conducting market research to support the procurement of infrastructure maintenance and support subscription services for the ASTRO 25 Land Mobile Radio (LMR) network at Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona. The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract on a sole-source basis to Motorola Solutions, Inc. due to the proprietary nature of the P25 digital system and the need for Original Equipment Manufacturer resources to ensure compliance with Department of Defense Instruction 8500 Information Assurance requirements.
