54-ML-PR39786 Galvanized Steel Beams for Wilkes Co. Bridge Maintenance

The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) has issued Invitation for Bid 54-ML-PR39786 to award an Agency Specific Contract for a one-time purchase of galvanized steel beams. The procurement includes 15 units of W12x65x25 beams, 60 units of W12x65x30 beams, and 60 units of W12x96x35 beams. All materials must meet AASHTO M270, Grade 50 standards, including Charpy V-Notch toughness for Zone 1, and must be hot-dipped galvanized in accordance with NCDOT Structural requirements and Section 1076 of the Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures. Delivery is required Free-On-Board (FOB) Destination to the NCDOT Bridge Maintenance facility in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, within sixty consecutive calendar days after the receipt of a purchase order. Bids must be submitted electronically via the electronic Vendor Portal by October 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET. The award will be granted to the responsive bidder offering the lowest price that meets all technical specifications, with additional consideration given to the promptness of delivery and the vendor's responsibility. Qualified vendors must be registered in good standing with the state of North Carolina and provide certifications regarding financial condition, worker locations, and compliance with fair employment and E-Verify regulations. Invoices are to be submitted as single invoices to the North Wilkesboro office and will not be paid until the goods have been inspected and accepted by the Contract Manager.
