Synopsis/Solicitation: i. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with no additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a small business set-aside Request for Quote (RFQ). This procurement is for CA-6 aggregate stone for multiple locations at the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, near Marion, Illinois. ii. Solicitation number F13PS00679 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). iii. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. iv. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside for small business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 212312, with a corresponding size standard for this NAICS is 500 employees. All offerors must disclose their size standard in the submitted quotation in order to be considered responsive to this solicitation. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Buyer intends to issue award using a fixed priced purchase order. v. Line Item 0001: 2400 Tons CA-6 Stone. vi. Description/Specifications/Work Statement: The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, permits and materials necessary to supply, deliver and tail-gate spread 2,400 tons of CA-6 stone aggregate stone to locations designated on US Fish and Wildlife Service property at Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, Marion, Illinois, in accordance with the terms of this contract. Please see attachment for specifications. vii. Delivery Requirements: Delivery shall be coordinated with Kevin Reichert at
+1 (555) 000-0000. Delivery will be to Area 6, Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, near Marion, Illinois. The attached map shows the area of delivery. The delivery will accompany a tailgate spread; thickness is to be determined by the site manager at each location. Drivers shall furnish certified scale tickets to FWS/government personnel upon delivery of each load to the delivery site. Required commencement date for delivery is on or about August 1, 2013.
