58--Data Logger (DL)-500 Integrated Global Positioning System (GPS) Instrumentation Systems

The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone, Air and Missile Defense Directorate, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama intends to award, on a sole source basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), a contract to American Systems Corporation. American Systems Corporation is the only vendor that can supply the DL-500 Integrated GPS Instrumentation Systems. American Systems Corporation is the designer, manufacturer, and sole source supplier of DL-500 systems for military, defense and other government organizations. This requirement is to procure 15 DL-500 Integrated GPS Instrumentation Systems and 1 Hemisphere GPS MBX-4 Beacon Receiver Kit that will be used in support of Land Phalanx Weapons System. This is not a Request for Competitive Proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If you feel your firm possesses the ability to provide these supplies, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet the requirements. If no affirmative written response is received, the supplies will be awarded without further notice.
