The USPFO of Louisiana plans to award a sole source contract to Wulfsberg Electronics located in Prescott, Arkansas, for the purchase of four Wulfsberg FLEXCOMM II CS Radio Systems. This procurement is justified under specific federal regulations allowing for other than full and open competition, as Wulfsberg is the only known supplier authorized by AMCOM to provide an Air Worthiness Release for installation and operation on UH60 aircraft, which is a critical requirement. The award is based on the premise that no other sources can meet the agency's requirements for this specialized equipment. Interested and qualified parties are invited to respond by September 1, 2009, by 11:00 AM CST, although the government retains the sole discretion to decide whether to proceed without competition based on the responses received. Questions or expressions of interest should be directed to COL Patti Woods via email. Additionally, those believing they have an acceptable product must contact the Aviation Command’s Engineering Directorate in Huntsville, Alabama. This contract falls under NAICS code 334290 and is managed by the Department of Defense's W7NB USPFO Activity in Pineville, Louisiana.
