Full Description

This procurement is being performed under FAR 13.5 and FAR 12. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego Contracting Office intends to award a firm fixed price contract to purchase two (2) each Model 2200 Modular Side Scan Sonar Systems (MSSSS) on a sole source basis. The MSSSS includes: underwater full spectrum chirp processor, 1000 meter stainless steel pressure housing with endcaps and connectors (including pressure test), discover topside processor (software), 120 Khz arrays (22 inch long), and digital link electronics in 19 inch rack mountable case with odometer counter. This is being done under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements provider is Edgeone LLC dba EdgeTech in West Wareham, MA 02576. The applicable NAICS: 334511, business size 750. It is anticipated that a Request for Quote will be issued on or about August 6, 2015 directly to Edgeone LLC. This procurement is issued as unrestricted. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination by the Government. Standard commercial packaging and marking will be required. Delivery location is COMSUBPAC DET ASL, 53370 Cabrillo Memorial Dr; BLDG 370, San Diego, CA 92106. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. All inquires received by the closing date will be reviewed by the government.
