This contract involves the organization and execution of a Threat Simulator briefing aimed at supporting the Egyptian Air Force (EAF) in evaluating and compiling requirements for threat simulation systems. Originating from discussions held in Cairo in October 2003, the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center (WR-ALC) is tasked with researching and presenting relevant threat simulation information to assist the EAF Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) shops. To facilitate this, WR-ALC/LSRIM has scheduled an Industry Day event on July 29, 2004, where industry participants will be invited to present their threat simulator products for EAF review. The event allows the EAF to assess submitted information at their leisure to determine their needs, with the stipulation that only publicly available information will be accepted for presentation. The solicitation for this effort is identified under the reference number SS-TCM-14 and is associated with NAICS code 334511, which pertains to electronic equipment manufacturing, including simulators. While specific contract award details and agency information are not provided, the main points of contact for the program include Lisa K. Fruge and Jerry Lewis from the WR-ALC, along with Jerry G. Maggard. The primary activity revolves around facilitating collaboration between WR-ALC, industry partners, and the EAF to enhance the threat simulation capabilities available to the Egyptian Air Force, supporting their electronic warfare and defensive training requirements.
