58--USMC NOTICE TO INDUSTRY REGARDING CAC2S AND MRRS

The United States Marine Corps Systems Command at Quantico, VA, is overseeing key programs within Battlespace Management and Air Defense Systems, specifically the Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S) and the Multi-Role Radar System (MRRS). Both programs are fully funded and proceeding according to established cost, schedule, and performance objectives. In response to recent media reports that may have created misunderstandings within the industry, the Marine Corps clarified that the U.S. Army’s AN/MPQ-64 Sentinel Radar was evaluated but found insufficient to meet all MRRS mission requirements, leading to its exclusion as a single material solution for MRRS.
