SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to negotiate a sole source contract with SR Technologies Incorporated, 4101 SW 47th Avenue, Ste 102, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33314 for the purchase of geo-location and target development systems and services for enhancements to the systems in support of tactical operations. Windjammer is a multi-purpose Mobile Satellite Service (MSS) interrogation, geo-location and target development system, capable of operating on disparate satellite telephone networks. SR Technologies is the manufacturer of this equipment and has proprietary rights. SR Technologies Inc. is the original software developer and is the only contractor with authority to perform the services on its systems. A Commercial, Firm Fixed Price type contract issued under the Test Procedures of FAR Part 13.5 is anticipated.
