The US Coast Guard is seeking sources for a firm fixed price contract to purchase specific circuit cards for the AN/SPS-73 Surface Search Radars. The requirement includes 17 Radar data extractors (NSN 5998-01-503-3382, P/N 1721818-102) and 11 Radar Scan Control cards (NSN 5998-01-503-3380, P/N 1721817-102). Because the necessary engineering drawings and test specifications are proprietary to the original equipment manufacturer, Raytheon Electronic Systems, the government intends to negotiate directly with them. Despite the intent to work with the OEM, other capable organizations are invited to submit detailed information regarding their expertise and ability to meet these requirements within 15 days of the announcement. This notice is a sources sought request and not a formal Request for Proposal, meaning no pricing data is required and the government will not pay for the information provided. Additionally, the notice highlights available working capital financing through the Department of Transportation's short-term lending program for eligible minority, women-owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises.
