This contract, identified by PR number FD2020-02-63971 and solicitation number F42600-02-R-5029, is for the procurement of 174 radio frequency solid state amplifiers, part number 77C716283P5, for use in the An/Fps-117 system. These encased module amplifiers operate on a nominal 28.0 DC voltage and contain beryllium oxide. The items are to be delivered to Hill Air Force Base, Utah, with a specified delivery date of April 30, 2003. The government is pursuing this acquisition through a limited source negotiation with Lockheed Martin under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1) and FAR 6.302. This non-competitive approach is justified because the government lacks the necessary technical data to purchase the parts from other sources, making the current source the only responsible provider capable of satisfying the agency requirements. Eligible contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration to receive awards or payments.
