The Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA) is an open systems framework developed to facilitate interoperability and reuse across various defense testing and training platforms, including laboratories, range systems, simulations, and embedded instrumentation. Since its establishment in December 2000, the TENA Architecture Management Team (AMT) has functioned as the governing standards body, bringing together stakeholders from the test and training communities to guide the architecture's evolution. The AMT conducts regular meetings every two to three months to review implementation progress, address improvement opportunities, and consider incorporating new technologies. The upcoming AMT-30 meeting is scheduled for October 12-13, 2005, at the Hilton Sandestin Hotel in Destin, Florida. Interested participants must register by September 30, 2005, through the TENA website. Attendance at this meeting is not tied to any current government contract, and as such, government funding for participation will not be provided; companies are responsible for their own expenses. The meeting provides a forum for users and developers to engage with the latest developments in TENA, although it operates independently of contractual obligations.
