Full Description

NA We intend to award a sole source contract to National Semiconductor Corporation, 5-Foden Road, South Portland, Maine 04106-1706 over the next four(4)years to purchase several die. National Semiconductor Corporation is the original equipment manufacturer f or the die. NAICS Code is 334413. The die is the basic component for the Combined Interfaces with Controlled Output (CINCO II) application specific integrated circuit (ASIC). The CINCO II ASIC is used in the Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module (S AASM) key data processor. The SAASM is the next generation GPS that is currently under development by the GPS Advanced Security Devices NAVSTAR GPS Joint Program Office. White Sands Missile Range purchases these die as requirements are identified and sto res them in our long-term nitrogen storage facility until they are needed by one of the developers. During this time frame, we estimate to procure 10,000 units for FY03; 64,000 units for FY04; 106,000 units for FY05; and 144,000 units for FY06. No additi onal notifications of individual purchases will be provided. See Note 22. (Any proposals must be received by 4:00 PM MST, 27 May 2003).
