NIWC Atlantic intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for Harris modification kits designed for CVN-68 class ships. These proprietary kits, which include power supplies, shelves, and cabling, are essential for the installation and operation of Harris low power amplifiers and power supplies within the HYDRA system. Because the equipment is brand name specific and designed to interface exclusively with existing Harris hardware, the government intends to procure these items on a sole source basis. Although this is a notice of intent for a sole source award, the government will accept quotes from responsible small business sources capable of providing the requested items. Interested vendors must submit their quotes, including their federal tax ID, CAGE code, DUNS number, and best delivery timeframe, by 17:00 EST on July 14, 2017. All responding small businesses must be registered in the System for Award Management and submit invoices electronically via Wide Area Workflow.
