Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source: The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Directorate of Contracting - Fort Benning, GA intends to solicit, evaluate and award a sole-source fixed-price (FFP) contract for scanner kits. The Fort Benning Directorate of Plans, Training & Mobilization requires these electronic fingerprint systems for fingerprinting all clearance & IT requests on the installation. This will be the second scanner using LSCAN Guardian device and Live Scan Management Software. The contract will consist of: 1.0 925160 QTY 1 LSCAN Guardian USB with LSMS on Desktop, Guardian USB Fingerprint Scanner (500pppi) with manual, Runtime License for LSCAN, Essential driver, Auto capture and Rolls Licenses, Desktop Computer, Live Scan Management Software (LSMS Manual Set, Silicone Membrane Supply Kit, PC Anywhere software, Power cord and USB cable, standard one-year limited warranty. 1.0.1 930097 QTY 1 Enhanced warranty for 10-Point System, 12-months, ID 442, 500, 700, 1000, 1000T or Guardian system Enhanced Warranty. This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation of offers. The Government believes this is a sole source requirement; however, vendors that feel they can fulfill this requirement should contact the POC identified in this solicitation within seven (7) days. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated award date is no later than 25 July 2012.
