This market survey, solicitation number MARKET-SURVEY-0339, seeks to identify additional sources for the Stability Augmentation System SAS Amplifier and three of its primary subassemblies: the Rate Gyro, Analog Pitch Module Amp, and Roll/Yaw Module. These components, originally supplied by Honeywell International Inc., are critical parts for the Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter fleet. Because the Army does not possess the detailed technical data for manufacture, potential suppliers must prove their ability to provide units that are physically and functionally interchangeable with the original equipment. Interested parties must submit their responses to the Commander of USA CECOM at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, by the deadline of September 28, 2004. Submissions must include supporting documentation such as test results, previous purchase orders, or a statement from the current source verifying capability. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant that the provided items will perform satisfactorily for the Army's intended purposes. For further inquiries, the point of contact is Tuan Pham.
