The Department of Defense is conducting a market survey to identify additional suppliers for the Vertical Situation Indicator (VSI), part number 129060, used in UH-60A/L aircraft. As the Army does not possess the detailed technical data for the manufacture of this unit, interested vendors must demonstrate their ability to provide components that are physically and functionally interchangeable with those currently provided by Astronautics Corporation. Prospective suppliers are required to submit documentation to the Commander of USA CECOM at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. This submission must include test results, previous purchase orders, or a statement from the current source verifying the supplier's capability. Successful candidates may be required to warrant that the items will perform according to Army specifications. The primary point of contact for this inquiry is Technical Engineer Daniel Corwin.
