Full Description

Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport intends to issue a solicitation for the following non-commercial supply: Wiper Assembly, Commutator, in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 2505762 REV E and all associated drawings for the Fuel Valve & Cap Program for the MK 48 Torpedo System. This requirement is for 10 EA, First Article Testing of Wiper Assemblies, CLIN 0001; and 1,000 EA Production Units, Wiper Assembly Base Year CLIN 0002; 1,000 EA Production Units, Wiper Assembly Option 1 CLIN 1001; 1,000 EA Production Units, Wiper Assembly Option 2 CLIN 2001; and 1,000 EA Production Units, Wiper Assembly Option 3 CLIN 3001. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract awarded to a small business set aside and will include a base plus three options. The applicable NAICS Code is 335999 and has a size standard of 500 employees. Offers shall be FOB Destination to Keyport, WA 98345-7610. The solicitation number for this requirement whe! n issued will be N00253-09-R-0013. Drawings Referenced in this Solicitation are restricted by the Arms Export Control Act and are ONLY available to vendor's/contractor's appointed data custodian that are registered with DLIS (Defense Logistics Info Svc Joint Certification Program (JCP). Restricted Drawings and Technical Information are available through FedBizzops as an attachment to the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for download on or around 21 March 2009. The closing date of the solicitation will be 07 April 2009 at 1600 Pacific Standard Time, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. The RFP will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link at https://www.neco.navy.mil and will also be available for download at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Offerors wish! ing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from these websites and to frequently monitor the sites for any amendments to the RFP. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted.
