This project consists of the abandonment of approximately 2,300 linear feet of existing 6-inch Asbestos Cement (A/C) water main along North Carpenter Road between Dairy Road and Calendula Avenue in Mims. The work includes locating and identifying the existing water main; installing insertion valves and thrust collars; testing and relocating existing water services; installing grout injection points; grouting and abandoning the existing A/C water main; disconnecting the main from the potable water distribution system; and restoring all affected areas. The project also includes all required testing, as-built documentation, maintenance of traffic, permits, and incidental work necessary to complete the project in accordance with the Contract Documents.
