The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, Seal Beach Division plans to award a sole source contract to GreenLee Textron Tempo Operation in Vista, California for the procurement of Alaska Fiber Cable Assemblies. The contract covers specific part numbers with quantities as follows: 16 units of P/N CP-3856-01-200, 2 units of P/N CP-3856-01-600, 25 units of P/N CP-3856-02-02, and 16 units of P/N CP-3856-03-27. The action is conducted in accordance with U.S.C. 2304(1) and FAR 6.302-1, which permit non-competitive procurement when only one source is capable of fulfilling the need. The notice serves informational purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or request for proposals. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 335921, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The government reserves discretion in choosing not to compete this requirement, emphasizing the critical need for the parts to maintain interoperability with existing Navy equipment.
