This is a firm-fixed-price contract awarded to Ward Leonard CT LLC for the repair and modification of direct current motors for the Department of Defense, specifically through the Navsup Weapon Systems Support Mech. The current contract is valued at 420,000 dollars and is projected to end on December 7, 2026. There is a medium confidence prediction that this requirement will be a recompete opportunity. The scope of work focuses on ensuring motors meet specific operational and functional requirements, with strict adherence to turnaround time (RTAT) standards. Failure to meet these timelines results in a price reduction of 1 percent per asset per month. The contractor is responsible for quality assurance, marking items according to MIL-STD-130, and maintaining inspection records for 365 days following final delivery. Shipping is handled via the government's implemented system, and the contractor must comply with Commercial Asset Visibility requirements.
