The U.S. Navy’s NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, intends to award a sole-source contract for the repair of voltage regulators identified by NIIN 015100762 and part number G54527, used in sub propulsion systems, to the original equipment manufacturer with CAGE code 1EKE3, as it is the only qualified source capable of providing this repair due to the lack of available technical data and government ownership of underlying intellectual property. Two units are required, to be delivered to DLA Distribution facilities in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, and Tracy, California, under the procurement reference NSN 7H-6110-015100762-VN, with the applicable PSC being 6110 and NAICS code 335312. The solicitation will be conducted under FAR Part 15 using non-competitive procedures authorized by 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302, as no other supplier can meet the government’s technical or operational needs. Although the notice initially cites a Total Small Business Set-Aside, the actual procurement is designated as non-set aside, with Buy American provisions and UID requirements to apply. Electronic submission via NECO is mandatory, with the solicitation expected to be posted July 31, 2026, responses due by August 31, 2026, and award anticipated by September 15, 2026. All potential bidders must respond via email to the designated contracting point of contact, Taylor Weidman, and must not expect hard copies or phone inquiries to be honored. Any firm not currently approved as a source must submit a Source Approval Request, though the procurement will not be delayed for approval processing.
