This solicitation, issued by the Department of Defense under solicitation number W15P7T-04-R-C006, seeks a contractor to provide Tactical Power Supplies, specifically models PP-6224C/U and PP-2953D/U. A key objective of this requirement is for the PP-6224C/U to replace the existing PP-6224B/U, with a specific focus on developing alternative designs for the front panel assembly cover to improve durability in tactical environments where current steel spring pins and hinges frequently fail. The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity agreement resulting from competitive best value procedures. This opportunity is designated as a total small business set-aside. Managed by the office at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, this requirement was previously synopsized in 2003 but was not issued during that fiscal year.
