Full Description

The 186th Air Refueling Wing, Meridian, MS intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisitions Procedures to Advantor Systems Corporation Orlando, FL to provide an intrusion detection system on NGB contract W9127Q-15-F-0007. The 186th ARW already has Advantor's security system implemented throughout the base. Building 104 was renovated to accommodate the new tenants of the building and must be brought up to date with the security requirements of the rest of the buildings on base. This system must be installed to be compatible with the rest of the systems on base. Advantor has no dealers or distributors for their products, thus making them a sole source for the Intrusion Detection System. In the absence of qualified sources, a contract will be awarded under the Other than Full and Open Competition procedures, pursuant to FAR Part 13.106-1(b), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Telephonic inquiries will not be accepted. This is not a request for competitive proposals. The decision not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
