The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting a Sources Sought market research for a turnkey T6 Nurse Communication System installation in the Dialysis Unit Building 113 at VAMC Hampton, VA. Interested companies are requested to submit their company name, socioeconomic status, Dun & Bradstreet number, the type of system they plan to install, and an estimated installation timeline by May 28, 2020. The system scope includes 32 patient stations, pillow speakers, bath station pull cords, dome lights, advanced bed licenses, duty stations, nurse master touch screen stations, necessary hardware such as power switches and gateways, programming, testing, training, and warranties. The installation will involve components supplied by the general contractor like conduit and power infrastructure, while the vendor is responsible for debris removal and completing work during standard business hours unless otherwise approved. The system must come with a five-year parts warranty and a one-year labor warranty post-acceptance. Responses should include detailed system information and delivery timelines from the receipt of the order. All inquiries must be submitted in writing to the designated contract specialist, with no phone calls accepted. This market research supports evaluating industry capability and readiness for the VA’s Nurse Call Station upgrade project under solicitation number 36C24620Q0604.
