65--Anterior Cervical Plate and instrumentation with vendor representative in attendance during surgery

The US Army Medical Command Southern Region - East has a requirement for 1 each Anterior Cervical Plate with instrumentation for patient specific surgery. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2) and FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and Compelling Urgency . The suggested contractor is Lanx, Inc., 310 Interlocken Parkway, Suite 120, Broomfield, CO, 80021-3464. 1 each Anterior Cervical Plate with instrumentation to include but not be limited to screws, drills, locking caps and plates. Must also be able to provide a trained and certified representative to be present during all surgical procedures. This is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. However, companies that can provide an equal or like product must submit their technical capabilities to include technical specifications of their product, past performance information to include product research and technical and peer published reviews, price and delivery time within four (4) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. This information will be reviewed by the Director of the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program and Chief, Spinal Reconstructive Surgery, at Eisenhower Army Medical Center for consideration for future requirements.
