Solicitation # 89303027NHC000012
The Department of Energy, through the Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer, is conducting market research via a sources-sought Request for Information to identify qualified contractors for professional medical review and advisory services. These services will support the Reasonable Accommodation Program and other workforce-related medical needs for a geographically dispersed workforce across DOE Headquarters, program offices, field offices, and Power Marketing Administrations. The primary scope involves providing medical professionals to evaluate documentation and offer written recommendations for effective accommodations. Key deliverables include an initial review of up to 600 previously approved cases and approximately 150 ongoing annual reviews, with potential expansion into FMLA requests, positive drug test results, and workers compensation claims. This RFI is issued for planning purposes and does not constitute a formal solicitation. Interested respondents must submit a maximum two-page response in PDF or Word format to the contracting officer, Heather Leonard, by November 13, 2026. Submissions must include a company overview detailing business size, socioeconomic status, NAICS codes, UEI, and CAGE codes, as well as any existing federal contract vehicles such as GSA Multiple Award Schedules. Additionally, the government is requesting nonbinding rough order of magnitude pricing for the specified case volumes and information regarding the contractor's experience with expanded medical review services.
