36C25019Q0442 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Bronchial Thermoplasty System The Department of Veteran Affairs, Louis Stokes Medical Center (CLE VAMC), Medical Service, 10701 East Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44106, intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i) - Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The NAICS code is 334510 with a small business size standard of 1,250. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Veterans Healthcare Supply Solutions, 13949 Alvarez Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32218, for an Alair Bronchial Thermoplasty System. The Alair Bronchial Thermoplasty System is used for the treatment of severe persistent asthma for patients, where their asthma is not well controlled with inhaled corticosteroids and long-acting beta-agonists. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Friday, March 8, 2019 at 5PM EST.
