This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. - It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses interested and capable of providing the requested commodities. This acquisition implements a 100% set aside for SDVOSBs. The NAICS Code is 339112; size standard is 1000 employees. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Cardiac Mapping System at the Northport VA Medical Center STATEMENT OF WORK Ablation equipment Introduction and Scope of Work: The Northport VAMC has an active invasive cardiology and electrophysiology program. We presently refer all patients with arrhythmias that require ablation to either a local hospital or the VA Manhattan. This occurs at significant cost and inconvenience to both our patients and facility. Requirements: Equipment required to perform intracardiac right sided ablation and programmed electrical stimulation. It would be preferred if the system performed 3D intracardiac mapping. It would be preferred if the system interfaced with the VA s EHR (CPRS/VISTA). The system should store data from the procedures and allow for report generation. There should be training of staff on the use of the equipment. The equipment should be installed in the cardiac catheterization laboratory at the VAMC Northport Building 200. The system should also have the ability record the data collected during the study.
